Our Vision for Birmingham Outreach Foundation
Birmingham Outreach Foundation is committed to reducing poverty and promoting social inclusion in Birmingham and the surrounding area. We believe that every individual deserves access to basic necessities such as hot food/drinks and water.
Our vision is to create a community where everyone has the opportunity to eat at least one hot meal per week, regardless of their background or circumstances. We strive to help individuals and families in need by providing them with hot food to overcome poverty and exclusion.
We believe that working together can create a brighter future for all members of our community. Our goal is to build a network of support that brings together individuals, organisations, and businesses to address poverty and social exclusion comprehensively and sustainably.
We are committed to working with partners and stakeholders to identify and address the root causes of poverty and social exclusion and to develop innovative solutions that improve the lives of those in need. We believe that by fostering a culture of collaboration and mutual support, we can make a real and lasting difference in the lives of those we serve.
In short, our vision is to create a more just and equitable society for all, where everyone has the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential. We will continue to work diligently to achieve this vision, and we are committed to creating positive change in our community.
Our Purpose
The Birmingham Outreach Foundation is a non-profit charitable organisation established with the mission of preventing or relieving poverty in Birmingham and the surrounding area, promoting social inclusion among vulnerable members of the community, and furthering charitable purposes for the public benefit:-
Our mission is outlined in our constitution (CIO), which states that our objectives are:
1. To prevent or relieve poverty in Birmingham and the surrounding area, through the provision of food and basic essential items to individuals in need.
2. To promote social inclusion among vulnerable members of the community who are excluded from society because they are unemployed, homeless, or struggling financially, by providing advice about housing, employment, and welfare, as well as other areas which the trustees deem fit.
3. To further such exclusively charitable purposes for the public benefit according to the law of England and Wales as the charity trustees shall in their absolute discretion determine.
We believe that by addressing poverty and social exclusion, we can empower individuals and families to reach their full potential and improve the overall well-being of our community. Our goal is to provide the necessary resources and support to those in need so that they can overcome the barriers that prevent them from achieving their goals.
Our approach is holistic, addressing not only the immediate needs of those we serve but also working to address the root causes of poverty and social exclusion. We strive to make a real and lasting difference in the lives of those we serve and to create a more just and equitable society for all.
